CR B23-7 leads local back from Clinton on the line that runs north out of Framingham and used to go to Fitchburg. This was taken around the summer of 1995.

The signals stand ready guarding the west bound approaches to Nevins Yard and the branch that goes to the CP yard (track going left) on a cold snowy February day in 2007.
Q423 gets a late afternoon start on a snowy afternoon. This originally came out dark, but thanks to Photoshop I lightened it up a bit.
There are days you want to get Christmas card shots. It had been snowing all morning and was to turn to freezing rain that afteroon. I called off work for the day and ventured just 3 miles from my house. I then made my way across a small partially frozen creek to get to this old dam platform. This was probably one of the more treacherous shots I have ever taken. It had been snowing just a couple of minutes earlier, but by the time Q436 came past it was freezing rain. Still it was worth the effort.
This was in January of 07. I was still getting used to my new digital camera, when I saw this ex SP Tunnel Motor in Framingham.
Some GP40-2's are waiting by the yard office on a quiet weekend afternoon. These units serve the locals that run out of Framingham.
This was a scanned slide. I saw these units resting in Framingham. The date is on the picture.
This is an old shot. I forgot when I took it. One of my knowledgeable buddies told me that BNSF only paited three C30-7's in to BNSF paint. I believe this was a couple of years before the Conrail carve up by CSX and NS.
Late afternoon, lack of sun. I wanted to get this shot. Fresh Snow had been falling and I thought I would include the snow on the signals and locomotive. This was in the winter of 2003.
This picture was taken at Nevins Yard, behind Belcher's Appliance in the summer of 2004. My apologies as this was taken as a still from my video camera. It has a one megapixel still capability, which is not much.
I believe I took this photo in October of 1996 in Ashland, MA. This was a great place to watch trains. You could pull right down off the road to a wide area and no one knew you were there. On this day the colors were right and so was the water. The nose of the locomotive is slightly out of focus, due to the speed of the locomotive. That's ok, this photo got me a first place at a local photo contest and I got a fleece jacket out of the deal.
Amtrak's Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited, is passing by mile post 24, on December 31, 2007. In the distance you can see the lights of an approaching MBTA train.
A snowy December 31, 2007 shows an east bound MBTA commuter train heading through Ashland at mile post 24.
Winter, Dec 31, 2007. MBTA in push pull mode going away east bound with the engine pushing, after a very recent snow.
I cannot remember the date of this picture, but judging by the lack of growth by the trees, and the Amtrak paint scheme, it must be winter between 1994 and 1998. Lake Shore Limited Boston Section #448 shoots past the old Ashland B&A passenger station. This station is now a doctor's office.
This shot was prior to March 2003 (that is when I traded my green car, hood is in foreground). A freshly painted Conrail C40-8w now is CSX paint leads Q264 past mp 26 on the Boston line, about 5 miles from its final destination in Framingham, Massachusetts.
An eastbound manifest freight, most like Q436 takes the crossover at CP24, just west of Cherry Street Grade Crossing in Ashland, MA
